Francis Mok

Music Director of Hong Kong Medical Association Choir

Mr. Francis Mok is enjoying his busy life with different roles as a singer, conductor, vocal coach, competition adjudicator and clinician. He was involved in various opera productions including Don Giovanni in Don Giovanni, Harašta and Priest in The Cunning Little Vixen, Peter in Hansel and Gretel, Frank in Die Fledermaus and Snug in The Midsummer Night’s Dream. His interpretation of Bartolo in Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro won a high reputation as “a vibrant character in the opera”.

Under his coaching and direction, the students of Francis won numerous awards, including International Vocal Competition, Hong Kong International Youth Performing Arts Festival, International Fringe Music Festival & Competition, St. Cecilia International Competition and Hong Kong Schools Music Festival and many more. The Choir led by Francis has won more than 15 championships, including four District Winner Championships in the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, Gold Medal Award in Hong Kong Inter-school Choral Festival and Joint School Music Competition.

Mr. Mok is currently the Music Director of the Hong Kong Medical Association Choir, The University Choir, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Student Union, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong United College Choir, and the guest teacher of Hong Kong Baptist University Music Department. He is also the founder of singing school Sing Music Academy.
