葉詠媛女士

Ms. Vivian Ip

生於香港,葉氏為合唱團及管弦樂團指揮,活躍於香港、美國及歐洲舞台。葉氏於 2016/17及2017/18 樂季擔任香港管弦樂團助理指揮。葉氏現為 Chorus Delicti Wien 音樂總監,並曾於柏林廣播合唱團、DR Vokalensemblet、香港聖樂團、香港兒童合唱團、印第安納大學交響合唱團、印第安納大學兒童合唱團等擔任指揮。葉氏以一級榮譽畢業於香港中文大學音樂系。後獲尤德爵士紀念基金全費獎學金,遠赴美國印第安納大學修讀合唱指揮;其後,再往維也納國立音樂大學深造,取得管弦樂指揮藝術碩士。2011年九月,葉氏於第六屆國際青年合唱指揮比賽中獲得特別演繹獎。

A native from Hong Kong, Ms. Ip is an active choral and orchestral conductor who has worked and performed in Hong Kong, the USA and Europe. In the seasons 2016/17 and 2017/18, she was appointed the assistant conductor of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.

 

Currently the music director of Chorus Delicti Wien, Ms. Ip has also conducted the Berlin Radio Choir, DR Vokalensemblet, Hong Kong Oratorio Society, Hong Kong Children’s Choir, Indiana University Symphonic Choir, Indiana University Children’s Choir, among others. She studied with scholarships and received her Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting at the Indiana University Bloomington and Mag. Art. degree (with Distinction) in Orchestral Conducting at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Ip received her Bachelor of Arts degree in music at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (First Honour).

 

Ip is the recipient of a special prize in the 6th International Competition for Young Choral Conductors in 2011.

林健雄先生

Mr. Darius Lim

指揮及作曲家林建雄先生來自新加坡,現為新加坡指揮家協會、Voco Singapore Ladies Choir 及 Voce Singapore Men’s Choir之會長,林氏同時亦是新加坡之聲合唱節的創辦人及藝術總監。林氏於新加坡和國際音樂界均負盛名,曾於各本地及國際性合唱及作曲比賽中獲得超過40個獎項。林氏創作的合唱音樂作品曾獲世界知名的合唱團選唱,包括皇家霍洛威學院合唱團、VOCE8、Leioa Kantika Korala、University of North Texas Women’s Choir 及香港兒童合唱團等。林氏師承英國BBC合唱團總監Neil Ferris先生及Sarah Tenant-Flowers博士。林氏於皇家威爾士音樂及戲劇學院以優異成績取得合唱團指揮碩士學位,現於澳洲昆士蘭音樂學院攻讀音樂藝術博士學位。

Singaporean conductor-composer Darius Lim is the President of the Choral Directors’ Association of Singapore, Music Director of Voco Singapore Ladies Choir and Voce Singapore Men’s Choir, as well as Founding Artistic Director of the Voices of Singapore Choir Festival.

 

Mr. Lim has risen to prominence in the national and international music scene with more than 40 awards that include Gold medals, 1st and 2nd Prizes, Category Champions, and other special prizes in both local and international choral and composition competitions. His choral works have been performed by world-renowned choirs such as VOCES8, The Choir of Royal Holloway, Leioa Kantika Korala, the University of North Texas Women’s Choir, and the Hong Kong Children’s Choir.

 

A former conducting student of BBC Choral Director Neil Ferris and Dr Sarah Tenant-Flowers, Lim graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama (UK) with a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting (with Distinction). He is currently a doctoral candidate at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree.
