HKICF2023 Guest Choir of The Year

A new exciting feature of HKICF2023! 

The Voices of Singapore Children’s Choir, conducted by Mr. Darius Lim, will be attending HKICF2023 as our first-ever Guest Choir of the Year. They will present an array of hand-picked Singaporean melodies in this virtual concert.

Not only will you have the opportunity to listen to these fine pieces, but the concert will also be narrated by Mr. Darius Lim himself. He will share the ways his choir prepared to present the songs and give us guidance on how best to appreciate them. This concert will expand your repertoire as well as help you understand how a choir consciously adopts different artistic styles to present a song.

There will be a live online exchange session after the concert between VOS members and the Hong Kong students moderated by our Artistic Director Mr. Kelvin Lau and Mr. Darius Lim. You will also have the chance to ask questions and interact with the representatives of VOS to get to know more about the choral culture in Singapore!
